First BEC Baptism 


On Thursday, July 1, we rejoiced over the baptism of Jim Cope.  He has been a regular student of the BEC since Sept 2009.   He has studied diligently and taken several private classes, along with his wife Terry.  He has now joined the family of God, and worships with the Christadelphian believers at the BEC facility Sunday service at 10:15 a.m., which is followed by adult Sunday School at 11:45 a.m.  

  

Bible Education Center - Month of July 


The Urbana Bible Education Center (BEC) continues its Summer classes on Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.  The "Introducing... " series continues for six weeks, starting July 15.  Paul Zilmer is the instructor.

There is also an informal discussion Bible class on Tuesdays, which starts at 7:00 pm. Ray Pratt is the discussion leader.  The  study topic is 2Corinthians.

The Center continues to offer a free, introductory self-study course, "God's Master Plan", and has now added a second free course: "Exploring the Bible".  The BEC also offers free, laminated Bible reading plans.
